ProCore® LED Christmas Light Bulbs

ProCore® LED Christmas Light Bulbs

These are our screw-in replacement Christmas light bulbs for C7 and C9 stringers. Every bulb in the collection is a ProCore® LED with SMD LED technology, a nearly indestructible polycarbonate lens and a corrosion-resistant nickel-plated base. Unlike common polystyrene bulbs, the polycarbonate lens won't break or degrade outdoors, so the color stays vibrant decorating season after decorating season. Bulbs are sold in packs of 25 and stringers are sold separately.

C7 or C9: Match Your Stringer

  • C7 bulbs use an E12 candelabra base and measure 7/8" across. They are the classic choice for window and doorway outlines and for Christmas trees indoors or out.
  • C9 bulbs use an E17 intermediate base and measure 1.18" across. They are the go-to bulb for rooflines, architectural outlines and large commercial displays. A C9 ProCore® bulb draws 0.84 watts.

The two bases are not interchangeable, so check your stringer before you order. Need a stringer too? Our C7 and C9 Christmas light stringers come in 25', 50' and 100' lengths with 6" or 12" spacing on green or white wire.

Faceted or Smooth Lens

A faceted lens throws sharp, sparkling points of light. A smooth (opaque) lens glows as one solid, even point of color. Both use the same ProCore® LED and polycarbonate construction, so it comes down to the look you want.

Colors and Effects

  • Solid colors: warm white (3000K), cool white, red, green, blue, gold, orange, pink, teal and multicolor in both sizes, plus purple and lime green in C9.
  • Twinkle: random twinkle in warm white, cool white and multicolor, socket by socket.
  • RGB color changing: C9 faceted bulbs that slowly cycle through seven colors on their own. Each bulb changes at its own pace, with no controller or programming needed.
  • ColorCraft® blends: C9 packs that mix colors in one box, including Champagne (warm white, pure white, cool white), Holly (red, green, lime green), Arctic (blue, cool white, teal), Stardust (blue, purple, teal), Bahamas (blue, green, teal), Humbug (lime green, red), Cotton Candy (teal, cool white, pink), Blue Taffy (warm white, teal) and Pink Taffy (warm white, pink). See them all in ColorCraft® LED Christmas light bulbs.

How Many Bulbs Do You Need?

Plan one bulb per socket. A 25' stringer with 12" spacing has 25 sockets, which is one pack. A 100' stringer with 12" spacing has 100 sockets, which is four packs. Mounting on a roofline or gutter? Pair your bulbs with Christmas light clips.

Every ProCore® bulb is backed by our Reindeer Proof™ Warranty. Shop by size in C7 LED Christmas light bulbs or C9 LED Christmas light bulbs.

Buying Guide

LED Christmas Light Bulbs FAQ

Answers to the most common christmas light bulbs shopping and comparison questions.

What are ProCore® LED Christmas light bulbs?

ProCore® is our line of screw-in C7 and C9 LED replacement bulbs. They use SMD LED technology, a nearly indestructible polycarbonate lens and a corrosion-resistant nickel-plated base, and they are sold in packs of 25.

What is the difference between C7 and C9 bulbs?

C7 bulbs use an E12 candelabra base and are 7/8 inch across. C9 bulbs use an E17 intermediate base and are 1.18 inches across. The bases are not interchangeable, so match the bulb to your stringer. C7 is the classic pick for windows, doorways and trees, and C9 is the standard for rooflines and large displays.

Will these bulbs fit my existing Christmas light stringer?

Yes, if the base matches. C7 bulbs fit any standard C7 (E12) socket and C9 bulbs fit any standard C9 (E17) socket. If you are not sure which you have, compare the socket to the bulb diameters above or check the stringer's product listing.

Should I choose faceted or smooth bulbs?

Faceted bulbs scatter light into sharp, sparkling points. Smooth bulbs glow as one solid, even point of color. Both use the same ProCore® LED and polycarbonate lens, so it comes down to the look you want.

Are ProCore® bulbs dimmable?

Yes, every steady-on ProCore® bulb is dimmable, including the solid colors and ColorCraft® blends. Twinkle bulbs and RGB color changing bulbs are not dimmable, and neither are C9 SuperSpark® strobe bulbs.

How many bulbs come in a pack?

Every pack holds 25 bulbs. Plan one bulb per socket: a 25-socket stringer takes one pack, a 50-socket stringer takes two and a 100-socket stringer takes four.

Are LED Christmas light bulbs safe to use outdoors?

Yes. ProCore® bulbs are rated for indoor and outdoor use and are backed by our Reindeer Proof™ Warranty. Point your plug connections down and keep them off the ground for the best results in wet weather.

Replacement LED Christmas Light Bulbs for C7 and C9 Stringers

ProCore® LED Christmas light bulbs screw into C7 and C9 stringer sockets. Pick the base that matches your stringer (E12 for C7, E17 for C9), then choose a faceted or smooth lens, a solid color, twinkle, RGB color changing or a ColorCraft® blend. Every pack holds 25 bulbs.
